STUDENTS can start by clicking on the FOR STUDENTS button in the main menu. That will link to an editable Google Doc Template that can be used to execute the Interactive Design project. This Doc references and links back to the OVERVIEW, UX PROCESS, & PROCESS EXAMPLES pages on this site.

What is Interactive Design?

According to Chanelle Henry, Web Design Engineer & Consultant, interactive design is built off of the foundation of graphic design knowing how to follow the grid, color theory, and typography but takes it a bit further to interactive devices such as computers, tablets, phones, and UI design to build user experiences.

What do Interactive Designers do?

Some specialize in conducting usability tests or other user research while others practice UX as part of other responsibilities in designing products, services, software applications or web sites.
